Job Requirements

  • Be on feet during shift and able to lift at least 30 lbs
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Have or acquire a Food Handler's Permit
  • Comfortable serving alcohol

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in bartending or food service preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and TIPS certification preferred or willingness to acquire
  • Ability to operate kitchen appliances and use utensils safely
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
  • Professional appearance and attitude towards guests and team members

Job Duties

  • Ensure customers receive a high level of service consistent with our customer service philosophy
  • Communicate with all staff and management using Basecamp system
  • Enforce campground policies and implement solutions consistent with goals of park
  • Proactively manage guests to ensure a positive environment
  • Coordinate with Guest Service staff for problem resolution when applicable
  • Prepare mixed drinks and serve tap and canned beverages
  • Use kitchen appliances and utensils comfortably
  • Perform bar prep for drinks, snacks, or needs during shift
  • Cashier and process orders
  • Assist with perishable and non-perishable inventory weekly
  • Complete TIPS training for responsible alcohol service
  • Serve beer, wine, and spirits in bar area and throughout park on beverage cart
  • Serve beverages as needed for catering events
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages around the property
  • Clean and maintain food prep area according to health code
  • Clean all appliances and equipment daily
  • Dishwash and sanitize
  • Perform other duties as assigned
