Job Requirements
- Must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work scheduled events, Must be personable and able to work in a fast-paced environment, Must have a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required, Must be able to identify and manage intoxicated guests properly, Must be able to communicate effectively with a diverse team and guests, Must be able to train and mentor staff, Must have basic math skills relevant to cash and inventory management
Job Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years experience in a supervisory capacity in a food and beverage environment, Ability to supervise the work of others, Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management and guests, Ability to speak, read and write in English, Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment, Possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required, Ability to handle cash accurately, Ability to calculate basic math functions related to transactions and inventory
Job Duties
- Ensure proper set-up of all Bar locations prior to doors, Provide a high level of oversight and operational expertise resulting in the smooth, efficient and profitable execution of events, Train new and current employees regarding property procedure and best practices, Cover or back-up any open position to assure location is fully operational and company standards are met, Ensure work environment is safe and free from harassment or discrimination, Provide ongoing assistance, training and mentoring to event staff, Supervise the service of beverages including alcoholic beverages and verify guests' identification, Compute the cost of sale and handle payments, Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards, Recognize and manage visibly intoxicated guests, Enforce all company policies and procedures, Practice excellent employee relations including corrective action and coaching, Assist Management with training, inventory and special event projects, Perform all other duties assigned by managers and supervisors
