Job Requirements
- Food/Beverage Service Worker permit, where applicable
- Requires high school reasoning level
- Requires 8th grade language level
- Requires 8th grade math level
- Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
- No employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others
Job Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Working knowledge of wine, liquor and inventory methods
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees
- Read, write and speak English fluently
Job Duties
- Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics which inspire employees to meet and exceed standards
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Maintain an open line of communication for the distribution of pertinent information
- Maintain scheduling and labor costs
- Promote employee empowerment
- Report all unsafe conditions immediately
- Assist with selection, training, supervision, development of employees according to Davidson policies and procedures
- Use proper guidelines for control of pour costs
- Issue and record all banquet liquor and wine
- Monitor staffing of beverage outlets
- Perform in the capacity of any position supervised
- Stock and set up all banquet bars
- Attend required meetings
- Complete all necessary paperwork relating to beverage operations
- Conduct performance appraisals
- Supervise set up of happy hour buffet to ensure Company standards are met
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training
