Job Requirements

  • Food/Beverage Service Worker permit, where applicable
  • Requires high school reasoning level
  • Requires 8th grade language level
  • Requires 8th grade math level
  • Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
  • No employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others

Job Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Working knowledge of wine, liquor and inventory methods
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees
  • Read, write and speak English fluently

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics which inspire employees to meet and exceed standards
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Maintain an open line of communication for the distribution of pertinent information
  • Maintain scheduling and labor costs
  • Promote employee empowerment
  • Report all unsafe conditions immediately
  • Assist with selection, training, supervision, development of employees according to Davidson policies and procedures
  • Use proper guidelines for control of pour costs
  • Issue and record all banquet liquor and wine
  • Monitor staffing of beverage outlets
  • Perform in the capacity of any position supervised
  • Stock and set up all banquet bars
  • Attend required meetings
  • Complete all necessary paperwork relating to beverage operations
  • Conduct performance appraisals
  • Supervise set up of happy hour buffet to ensure Company standards are met
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training
