Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a supervisory position
  • strong knowledge of spirits, beer and wine, and responsible alcohol service required
  • TIPS/TAM certified
  • trainer desired
  • must have food server permit
  • ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • professional appearance and positive attitude
  • ability and willingness to work a varied and flexible schedule including weekends, days, nights, and holidays
  • must tolerate prolonged periods of standing, walking
  • occasional kneeling, bending, and stooping
  • must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds as needed to carry food trays
  • must tolerate exposure to cleaning solutions

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise bartenders, barbacks, and cocktail servers during shifts
  • provide on-the-job training in mixology, service standards, and guest engagement
  • assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback
  • ensure staff compliance with alcohol service laws and company policies
  • greet and interact with guests to create a friendly, engaging bar experience
  • handle escalated guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • ensure consistent preparation and presentation of beverages according to recipes and standards
  • promote upselling and special promotions to increase revenue, promote food sales
  • oversee setup, cleanliness, and organization of the bar area
  • monitor and enforce safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service practices
  • manage daily bar inventory, including ordering, restocking, and minimizing waste
  • assist in developing cocktail menus, seasonal specials, and beverage programs
  • process and verify guest transactions, including cash, credit, and room charges
  • assist bartenders in balancing cash drawers and reconciling POS transactions at shift's end
  • safeguard company assets by ensuring accurate reporting and minimizing variances
  • assist with balancing server checkouts, reconciling POS reports, and securing daily deposits
  • maintain professionalism with coworkers and guests
  • other duties may be assigned by management
