Job Requirements
- Previous bartending experience required
- supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Strong mixology knowledge and ability to teach cocktail techniques
- Excellent communication, leadership, and guest service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in high-volume environments
- POS proficiency and comfort with basic administrative tasks
- Flexible availability includes nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Alcohol Server Certification or ability to obtain

Job Duties
- Supervise bar shifts to ensure consistent, high-quality service
- Assist bartenders during busy periods and maintain an active presence behind the bar and on the floor
- Ensure cocktails are made according to recipes, specs, and presentation standards
- Monitor bar cleanliness, organization, and stock levels
- Enforce responsible alcohol service and ensure compliance with hotel and state regulations
- Handle guest concerns quickly and professionally to maintain a positive experience
- Assist with liquor, beer, and wine inventory, weekly counts and variance checks
- Maintain proper par levels and communicate order needs to management
- Track product usage, waste, and potential shrinkage
- escalate concerns as needed
- Assist with cash handling procedures, voids, comps, and daily reconciliation
- Support training of new bartenders and servers on procedures, cocktails, and service etiquette
- Provide in-the-moment coaching and corrective feedback
- Help create a positive, motivated work environment through teamwork and communication
- Engage with guests, perform table touches, and lead hospitality standards
- Ensure bar atmosphere, lighting, and music align with hotel brand expectations
- Maintain strong product knowledge across cocktails, wine, spirits, and beer
- Support upselling initiatives and special beverage activations
- Complete opening, shift change, and closing procedures
- Ensure all bar equipment, tools, and glassware are in proper working condition
- Promote safety, sanitation, and cleanliness per health department and hotel guidelines
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
