Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in bar supervision or related hospitality management role
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and health regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication abilities
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving medium exertion
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings

Job Duties

  • Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and employees
  • Oversee all daily beverage operations and outlets
  • Supervise outlet personnel
  • Respond promptly to guest complaints
  • Collaborate with other food and beverage managers to address issues
  • Keep supervisors informed of operational problems
  • Coordinate and monitor loss prevention efforts
  • Prepare and submit required reports timely
  • Monitor service quality in beverage outlets
  • Ensure compliance with liquor laws and health regulations
  • Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) in all outlets
  • Maintain requisition procedures
  • Be visible on the floor and assist staff during busy times
  • Organize and lead department meetings
  • Conduct staff performance reviews
  • Train employees on SOPs and technical tasks
  • Adhere to core liquor, beer, and wine lists
  • Plan and implement beverage menus
  • Participate in departmental and hotel training programs
  • Interview and hire front-of-house food and beverage staff
  • Complete tip reporting
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
