Job Requirements
- Minimum of five years hospitality management experience in restaurants or bars
- Minimum of two years as a Restaurant General Manager or Bar/Lounge General Manager
- Strong background in service training
- Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktail creation and wine
- Ability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain and maintain TIPS certification
- Adaptable interpersonal communication skills
- Professional proficiency in English

Job Duties
- Drive holistic Hewing Bar + Lounge and Hewing Rooftop performance by developing and executing an operating plan that delivers on the food and beverage concepts
- Develop trusting and transparent relationships with the Director of Food + Beverage, Executive Chef and associates by being collaborative, humble and open-minded
- Model behaviors of servant leadership and hands-on assistance through mentoring, coaching and training
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and proper service
- Lead continual improvement practices by identifying root causes of service issues and implementing corrective actions
- Act as front of house ambassador by engaging in all aspects of service and maximizing seating
- Collaborate with Director of Food + Beverage on goals, P&L performance, KPIs, and menu evaluation
- Demonstrate advanced financial acumen by managing inventory, budget controls, labor, and expenses
- Collaborate with Directors of Lifestyle and Sales on planning and executing special events
- Facilitate daily pre-shift meetings ensuring opening and closing procedures are followed
- Monitor physical facilities and equipment, reporting needed corrections
- Utilize POS system effectively and train staff accordingly
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and liquor laws
- Assist with additional duties as assigned
