Job Requirements

  • Comply with Oak Hill Country Club's Acorns of Excellence
  • Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and dressed in accordance with Oak Hill Country Club's appearance standards
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Anticipate guest and contact needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to concerns and requests
  • Exceptional communication abilities when interacting with associates, guests, clients and internal departments to build relationships
  • Able to consistently perform tasks with little direct supervision
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers
  • Build and inspect event bars prior to each shift to ensure setup, cleanliness, organization, and maintenance meet Oak Hill standards
  • Pre-set all event bars daily to the Oak Hill standard
  • Organize weekly orders
  • Organize the cage
  • Keep a rotating stock of batched cocktails, juices and syrups in the cage for bar usage
  • Perform administrative duties including event prep task lists, monthly cage inventory and weekly ordering lists
  • Communicate daily to beverage manager for purchasing needs through the requisition system
  • Assist with club event execution including holiday picnics, golf tournaments, summer sizzler and wine dinners
  • Maintain and clean cage and operating bars including portable bars
  • Ensure employee dining room beverage offerings are stocked
  • Stock coolers for events
  • Work with leads team to create run of shows for events
  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings with beverage manager
  • Typically work Monday through Friday
  • May assist with bartending
  • Must be able to continuously sit, stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, push and pull during shifts
  • Maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Oak Hill standards
  • Occasionally work outdoors exposed to sun, heat, humidity and elements
  • Must work flexible shifts including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and extended shifts
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs periodically

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in bar service or food and beverage operations preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic administrative skills

Job Duties

  • Work with the leads team to create run of shows for events to ensure the most optimal task schedule for the week is executed
  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings that review upcoming events with beverage manager
  • Typically, work Monday through Friday, may assist with bartending when needed
