Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • A minimum one-year previous high volume F&B experience preferred
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a liquor license with the State of Indiana
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time (minimum of four hours)
  • Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the casino
  • from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator
  • Must be able to lift, carry and/or push a minimum of 40 lbs
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, turn, push, pull, grasp objects and the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a liquor license with the State of Indiana
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills, along with an upbeat and positive attitude and be able to perform in a fast pace environment
  • Excellent communication skills are required
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

Job Duties

  • Attends Indiana State Alcohol Awareness Training and receives certification for alcohol beverage service
  • Covers for the bartender during breaks or other absences from the bar
  • Assists in the set up of bartender work station and server stations
  • Completes assigned side work
  • Communicates areas in need of special attention to better facilitate quality guest service
  • Keeps assigned areas stocked with liquor, glasses, and all other necessary equipment
  • Maintains cleanliness of assigned area including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash cans
  • Performs other duties as assigned
