Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No prior work experience necessary
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to move over uneven or slippery surfaces
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Must uphold confidentiality and protect company assets
  • Must complete safety training and certifications
  • Must follow uniform and personal appearance standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • No related work experience required
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Ability to follow safety and security policies and procedures
  • Basic understanding of food and beverage service etiquette

Job Duties

  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc
  • Check with captain or supervisor before leaving at end of shift
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
  • Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies
  • Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables
  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of work areas, bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools, following all set-up guidelines
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities
  • Support team to reach common goals
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
