Job Requirements

  • Education in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in bar or restaurant management
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage industry standards
  • Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage scheduling and budgeting
  • Availability to work a full-time schedule with flexibility

Job Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and administration
  • Experience in restaurant or bar management
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong PC skills including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, and Outlook
  • Skilled in using POS systems and inventory management
  • Experience in staff training and scheduling according to budgeted business needs
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English

Job Duties

  • Assist in ensuring that the beverage sales forecasted for the restaurant are met
  • Ensure all beverage supplies, ingredients, or products in bars, lockers, and pantries are used, stored and accounted for following company policies
  • Focus on improving beverage cost in alignment with company budgets and projections
  • Account and record all beverage sales while ensuring pouring measures are followed according to standard operating procedures
  • Schedule bar staff
  • Train and educate all involved in sales and service of beverage products
  • Maintain company standards for beverage, food, and wine service
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of bar equipment and cleanliness of the bar
  • Ensure bar staff follow company guidelines regarding uniforms and personal hygiene
  • Manage overall restaurant operations
