Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in bar and beverage management in upscale or fine dining settings
  • Ability to manage a team of 10 or more
  • Experience with budget management and strategic planning
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Flexibility to act as Restaurant General Manager when required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment
  • Prior union environment experience preferred
  • Authorization to work in the location

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of bar and beverage experience in an upscale or fine dining environment
  • Prior experience in a union environment is a plus
  • Luxury hotel experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deliver personalized guest experiences
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial planning
  • Proficiency in compliance with brand standards and policies

Job Duties

  • Assist in leading, directing and managing all outlets operations including restaurant budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, implementing and complying with all company policies and brand standards, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, responding to guests' inquiries and resolving concerns, and meeting participation and facilitation
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, supervising, training, assessing and evaluating, coaching and counseling, and recognizing and rewarding department heads
  • Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance, and service and financial measurement
  • Assist in identifying operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and implementing measures to correct those deficiencies
  • Ensure guest and team member satisfaction
  • Serve and act as Restaurant General Manager in his or her absence
