Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant bar management experience
- Proven track record in upscale or fine dining beverage operations
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations and safety regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of bar and beverage experience in an upscale or fine dining environment
- Prior experience in a union environment is a plus
- Experience working in a luxury hotel or similar establishment is preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
Job Duties
- Assist in leading, directing and managing all outlets operations including restaurant budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, implementing and complying with all company policies and brand standards, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, responding to guests inquiries and resolving concerns, and meeting participation and facilitation
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, supervising, training, assessing and evaluating, coaching and counseling and recognizing and rewarding department heads
- Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance and service and financial measurement
- Assist in identifying operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and implementing measures to correct those deficiencies
- Ensure guest and team member satisfaction
- Serve and act as Restaurant General Manager in his or her absence
