Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of relevant bar and beverage management experience
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of industry health and safety standards
- Experience working in a unionized environment is a plus
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of bar and beverage experience in an upscale or fine dining environment
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and standards
- Ability to deliver personalized guest experiences
- Experience in a union environment is a plus
- Prior experience in a luxury hotel is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Assist in leading directing and managing all outlets operations including restaurant budgeting and forecasting strategic planning implementing and complying with all company policies and brand standards overseeing sales and marketing initiatives responding to guests inquiries and resolving concerns and meeting participation and facilitation
- Assist in recruiting hiring supervising training assessing and evaluating coaching and counseling and recognizing and rewarding department heads
- Oversee service quality operational efficiency guest satisfaction standards compliance and service and financial measurement
- Assist in identifying operational performance productivity and efficiency gaps and implementing measures to correct those deficiencies
- Ensure guest and team member satisfaction
- Serve and act as Restaurant General Manager in his or her absence
