Job Requirements
- Availability to work during peak hours including nights weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds
- Bending stooping reaching twisting lifting pushing pulling and moving items
- Ability to move around the store and maneuver merchandise when necessary
- Walking and standing
- Requires moving around the store to assist customers
- Identifying and reading reports
- Thrives in a fast paced environment
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of prior experience in bar management or hospitality
- High School diploma or GED
- Strong decision-making and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Understanding of business management and accounting principles
Job Duties
- Oversee all aspects of bar operations including maintaining liquor license and certifications
- Negotiate supplier contracts
- Conduct inventory cycle counts
- Manage budgets and monitor bar margins and profitability
- Recruit and train staff to deliver outstanding service
- Create and manage employee schedules and resolve conflicts
- Enforce quality and safety controls
- Collaborate with events team to plan and execute promotional events
- Mediate and defuse tense situations to ensure safety and legal compliance
- Foster a culture of accountability to company procedures
- Analyze data to develop strategic plans
- Develop innovative and unique menu features
- Stay updated on industry trends and lead staff in exceptional customer service
- Mentor and develop future leaders
- Assume additional responsibilities as needed
