Job Requirements

  • Availability to work during peak hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds
  • Bending stooping reaching twisting lifting pushing pulling and moving items
  • Ability to move around the store and maneuver merchandise when necessary
  • Walking and standing
  • Requires moving around the store to assist customers
  • Identifying and reading reports

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of prior experience in bar management or hospitality
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Strong decision-making and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Understanding of business management and accounting principles

Job Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of bar operations including maintaining liquor license and certifications
  • Negotiate supplier contracts
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts
  • Manage budgets and monitor bar margins and profitability
  • Recruit and train staff to deliver outstanding service
  • Create and manage employee schedules and resolve conflicts
  • Enforce quality and safety controls
  • Collaborate with events team to plan and execute promotional events
  • Mediate and defuse tense situations to ensure safety and legal compliance
  • Foster a culture of accountability to company procedures
  • Analyze data to develop strategic plans
  • Develop innovative and unique menu features
  • Stay updated on industry trends and lead staff in exceptional customer service
  • Mentor and develop future leaders
  • Assume additional responsibilities as needed
