Job Requirements

  • availability to work during peak hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • ability to lift to 50 pounds
  • bending stooping reaching twisting lifting pushing pulling and moving items
  • ability to move around the store and maneuver merchandise when necessary

  • requires moving around the store to assist customers
  • identifying and reading reports

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of prior experience in bar management or hospitality
  • high school diploma or GED
  • strong decision-making and leadership skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • understanding of business management and accounting principles

Job Duties

  • oversee all aspects of bar operations including maintaining liquor license and RAMP/TIPS certifications
  • negotiate supplier contracts
  • conduct inventory cycle counts
  • manage budgets
  • monitor bar margins and profitability
  • recruit and train staff to deliver outstanding service
  • create and manage employee schedules and resolve conflicts
  • enforce quality and safety controls
  • collaborate with events team to plan and execute promotional events
  • mediate and defuse tense situations
  • foster a culture of accountability
  • analyze data to develop strategic action plans
  • develop innovative menu features
  • stay updated on industry trends
  • lead bar staff in delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • mentor and develop future leaders
  • assume additional responsibilities as needed
