Job Requirements

  • Two years related experience in hospitality or service industry
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, and beers
  • Beverage cost control experience preferred
  • Sets a high standard of care and respect for colleagues
  • Ability to read, interpret and create documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, Property Management Systems (PMS), and Point of Sale (POS) systems

Job Duties

  • Oversee all bar operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws as well as hotel operating procedures
  • Develop and manage a creative beverage program, including signature cocktails and seasonal menus
  • Handle staffing, scheduling, and training for the bar team
  • Maintain strong floor presence, engaging guests and mentoring staff
  • Monitor beverage cost control and inventory management
