Job Requirements

  • Two years related experience in hospitality or service industry
  • High school diploma or general education degree GED
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Extensive knowledge of spirits wines and beers
  • Beverage cost control experience preferred
  • Sets a high standard of care and respect for colleagues
  • Ability to read interpret and create documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Computer proficiency in programs such as Microsoft Excel and Word Property Management Systems PMS and Point of Sale POS systems

Job Duties

  • Oversee all bar operations ensuring compliance with federal state and local laws as well as hotel operating procedures
  • Develop and manage a creative beverage program including signature cocktails and seasonal menus
  • Handle staffing scheduling and training for the bar team
  • Maintain strong floor presence engaging guests and mentoring staff
  • Monitor beverage cost control and inventory management
