Job Requirements
- High school diploma required
- minimum three years of bartending, cash handling, and customer service experience preferred
- minimum one year of supervisory experience preferred
- must be at least 21 years old
- availability to work flexible hours including holidays, evenings, and weekends
- ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and written
- ability to obtain and maintain SNHD Health Card, Alcohol Awareness Card, and Sheriff's Card
- exceptional cash handling skills
- strong knowledge of POS systems
- ability to work standing for long periods
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally throughout the shift
- willingness to work indoors and outdoors exposed to environmental factors such as noise, temperature variations, and cigarette smoke
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- exceptional cash handling skills and working knowledge of POS systems
- able to effectively communicate in English in both the verbal and written form
- availability to work flexible hours is required, including holidays, evenings, and weekends
- three or more years of previous bartending, cash handling, and customer service experience in the hospitality or retail environment preferred
- high school diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- minimum one year of supervisory experience in hospitality preferred
- thorough knowledge of guest service standards, cost analysis, inventory controls and staff administration
- obtain and maintain SNHD Health Card, Alcohol Awareness Card, and Sheriff’s Card
Job Duties
- Responsible for the oversight of daily operations
- ensure the bar is properly cleaned and assign any additional duties
- ensure the team sets up the bar for operations in accordance with all checklists
- perform opening, running, and closing side duties according to DTP policies
- maintain company funds and equipment in an orderly manner
- responsible for the security and accuracy of assigned banks and report all deposits for pickup
- monitor all overages and shortages and report any variances per DTP policy
- responsible for the security and timely return of all assigned keys
- follow the sequence of service specific to the business
- review and comprehend all necessary documentation
- execute operations in accordance with city and SNHD guidelines and regulations
- responsible for maintaining all Work Cards and Health Cards onsite for inspection as needed
- create weekly schedules and track attendance for all positions, minimizing overtime and watching overall payroll costs
- train all new Team Members and ensure they are familiar with the sequence of service, recipes, and policies and procedures
- direct HR responsibilities to include creating a positive work environment, recruitment and hiring, and coaching to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- be a key figure in communication between Team Members and Management
- instill service standards so that the team interacts with Guests in a manner which makes them feel comfortable and welcome
- observe and direct actions of Barbacks and inspect and maintain areas for which responsible
- work with the team to create all seasonal cocktails keeping in mind cost of goods and service execution
- create drink recipe standards and monitor successful execution of the overall bar program
- cook small menu items, following recipes and presentation standards
- maintain proper par levels of all supplies (liquor, paper, perishables, etc.)
- manage all inventory to ensure cost of goods metrics are met and report monthly inventory to accounting
- ensure all orders are placed and par levels are established for all beverage, perishables, and supplies
- work with the team and management to drive performance, including oversight of P&L review and setting measurable goals
- assist with maintaining accounting records and daily reporting requirements
- work with management on miscellaneous projects and administrative roles including pricing changes, evaluation, and cost of goods
- respond to customer service interactions in a professional and timely manner, achieving positive guest/problem resolution
- communicate any problems or situations detrimental to the property to immediate management
- regularly check the events calendar and plan bar operations accordingly
- staff appropriately for events, balancing guest experience with operational efficiency
- communicate any additional staffing needs related to events to management in a timely manner
- coordinate the execution of pop-up bar setups and teardowns as needed
- create event-specific menus aligned with service standards, brand identity, and cost controls
- identify operational needs within the venue and work with the team to fill necessary shortfalls
- perform all other job-related duties as requested
