Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in the hospitality or bar industry
- valid alcohol service certification or license
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- strong attention to detail
- excellent organizational skills
- ability to manage and lead staff
- knowledge of state alcohol laws and regulations
Job Qualifications
- prior experience in bar management or similar role
- strong knowledge of beverage products and mixology
- excellent leadership and staff management skills
- ability to use scheduling and labor management tools such as 7shifts
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of cash handling and inventory management
- familiarity with company policies and service standards
- creativity in developing new drink recipes
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
Job Duties
- greet guests and take beverage orders from servers or guests
- mix drinks cocktails and other bar beverages complying with company standards
- check identification to verify age for alcohol purchase
- handle assigned house bank and follow cash handling procedures
- collect payment for drinks and balance receipts
- ensure bar is equipped with tools and products needed for service
- prepare inventory or purchase requisitions to replenish supplies
- serve food items to guests seated at bar
- demonstrate thorough knowledge of food beverage products menus and distillery products
- maintain clean working area by cleaning as needed
- work with hr to determine staff needs and recruit appropriately
- manage staff productivity
- write weekly bar schedule using 7shifts posted at least one week in advance
- utilize labor tools and 7shifts functionality
- maintain cleaning schedule
- communicate company policy standards and procedures to staff
- work with hr on disciplinary actions
- oversee preparation and presentation of beverages to meet standards
- monitor and order bar supplies including liquor inventory
- attend weekly manager meetings
