Job Requirements

  • Must be able to walk and stand for up to 10 hours based on scheduled shift
  • frequent bending and stooping required
  • able to lift up to 30 lbs including maneuvering beer kegs
  • must be able to read and write English
  • must be able to hear well among loud background noise
  • college coursework or equivalent experience
  • minimum 6 months restaurant management experience
  • minimum 2 years bar experience
  • prior purchasing and production experience

Job Qualifications

  • College coursework with Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • minimum of 6 months of restaurant management experience
  • minimum of 2 years of bar experience with extensive knowledge of bar operations
  • prior experience in purchasing and production
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to coach and develop team members
  • effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • proficiency in managing staff schedules and operations
  • knowledge of local marketing strategies
  • ability to maintain beverage quality and control costs
  • skilled in maintaining inventory and equipment

Job Duties

  • Drive sales through local marketing and promotions
  • identify operational opportunities to increase sales and reduce costs
  • work with bartenders and key employees to promote local events
  • staff, train and develop the team
  • ensure completion of training plans and paperwork
  • coach and develop talent
  • maintain staff morale and set business conduct examples
  • prepare schedules ensuring proper staffing
  • manage daily shift operations including guest interaction and maintaining standards
  • run shifts proactively anticipating guest needs
  • interact frequently with guests to ensure exceptional service
  • maintain beverage quality through cleanliness and organization
  • address operational issues promptly
  • manage purchasing, receiving, and storage of beverage products
  • control inventory efficiently
  • understand equipment operations and maintenance
  • ensure restaurant readiness for shifts
  • act as Manager on Duty when needed
  • ensure proper security procedures
