Job Requirements

  • Must be able to walk and stand for up to 10 hours per shift
  • Frequent bending and stooping required
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds including beer kegs
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Must be able to hear well in loud environments
  • Prior restaurant management experience
  • Prior bar experience
  • Ability to supervise and develop team members

Job Qualifications

  • College coursework with Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months restaurant management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years extensive bar experience
  • Prior experience in purchasing and production
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Strong knowledge of bar operations and responsible alcohol service
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to handle guest relations and employee performance management
  • Basic physical ability including standing for long shifts and lifting up to 30 pounds

Job Duties

  • Drive sales through local marketing and promotional initiatives
  • Identify operational opportunities to increase sales and control costs and implement improvement plans
  • Collaborate with bartenders and key employees to promote local events
  • Staff, train, and develop hourly team members with ongoing feedback and performance reviews
  • Ensure completion of training plans for new hires including paperwork and compliance
  • Manage daily operations including scheduling, guest interactions, product quality, and cleanliness
  • Maintain beverage quality through cleanliness and proper storage
  • Monitor bar operations and address issues proactively
  • Manage purchasing, receiving, inventory, and beverage cost control
  • Understand bar equipment operation and maintenance
  • Ensure proper setup of restaurant and ambiance for shifts
  • Act as Manager on Duty in the General Manager's absence overseeing restaurant operations
  • Enforce security procedures to protect staff, guests, and company assets
