Job Requirements
- Must be able to walk and stand for up to 10 hours per shift
- Frequent bending and stooping required
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds including beer kegs
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must be able to hear well in loud environments
- Prior restaurant management experience
- Prior bar experience
- Ability to supervise and develop team members
Job Qualifications
- College coursework with Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 months restaurant management experience
- Minimum of 2 years extensive bar experience
- Prior experience in purchasing and production
- Ability to read and write English
- Strong knowledge of bar operations and responsible alcohol service
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to handle guest relations and employee performance management
- Basic physical ability including standing for long shifts and lifting up to 30 pounds
Job Duties
- Drive sales through local marketing and promotional initiatives
- Identify operational opportunities to increase sales and control costs and implement improvement plans
- Collaborate with bartenders and key employees to promote local events
- Staff, train, and develop hourly team members with ongoing feedback and performance reviews
- Ensure completion of training plans for new hires including paperwork and compliance
- Manage daily operations including scheduling, guest interactions, product quality, and cleanliness
- Maintain beverage quality through cleanliness and proper storage
- Monitor bar operations and address issues proactively
- Manage purchasing, receiving, inventory, and beverage cost control
- Understand bar equipment operation and maintenance
- Ensure proper setup of restaurant and ambiance for shifts
- Act as Manager on Duty in the General Manager's absence overseeing restaurant operations
- Enforce security procedures to protect staff, guests, and company assets
