Job Description

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift up to 10 hours based on scheduled shift
  • Frequent bending and stooping required
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs including maneuvering of beer kegs within beer cooler
  • Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • College coursework with bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months of restaurant management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of bar experience with extensive knowledge of bar operations
  • Prior experience in purchasing and production
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Must be able to hear well amongst loud background noise

Job Duties

  • Drive sales through local marketing initiatives as outlined in bar manuals and operational playbooks
  • Identify operational opportunities to build sales and control costs
  • Work with bartenders and key employees to promote local events and promotions
  • Staff, train and develop hourly team members through ongoing feedback and coaching
  • Manage operations during scheduled shifts including daily decision making, staff support, guest interaction, scheduling and planning
  • Ensure beverage quality by maintaining cleanliness, organization, storage and sanitation
  • Manage inventory efficiently and accurately in a cost-effective manner
  • Oversee the entire restaurant operation in the absence of the General Manager
  • Ensure proper security procedures to protect team members, guests and company assets
  • Frequently interact with guests to ensure exceptional service and follow-up on issues
