Job Requirements
- Minimum 6 months restaurant management experience
- Minimum 2 years bar experience
- College coursework or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Prior experience in purchasing and production
- Ability to walk and stand for up to 10 hours per shift
- Ability to bend, stoop frequently
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs including maneuvering beer kegs
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must hear well amid loud background noise
Job Qualifications
- College coursework with Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 months of restaurant management experience
- Minimum of 2 years of bar experience with extensive knowledge of bar operations
- Prior experience in purchasing and production
- Strong knowledge of operating bar equipment and preventive maintenance
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work standing and walking for up to 10 hours
- Ability to read and write English
- Able to hear well in noisy environments
Job Duties
- Supervise and manage all bar operations to ensure exceptional guest experience
- Drive sales through local marketing initiatives and promotions
- Recruit, train, and develop bartenders and other hourly team members
- Manage beverage costs, production, labor, and inventory accurately
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety in the bar area
- Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the General Manager overseeing entire restaurant operation
- Handle guest relations, vendor issues, and employee relations decisions with input from General Manager
