Job Requirements

  • College coursework preferred
  • six months restaurant management experience required
  • two years bar experience required
  • prior purchasing experience
  • ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours
  • able to frequently bend and stoop
  • able to lift 30 lbs including maneuvering beer kegs
  • fluent in English reading and writing
  • good hearing amidst noise

Job Qualifications

  • College coursework with bachelor’s degree preferred
  • minimum six months restaurant management experience
  • minimum two years bar experience with extensive knowledge of bar operations
  • prior experience in purchasing and production
  • ability to walk and stand for entire shift
  • ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 30 lbs
  • proficiency in reading, writing, and hearing in English
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • experience coaching and developing team members

Job Duties

  • Drive sales through local marketing initiatives
  • develop and implement plans to build sales and control costs
  • staff, train and develop bar team members
  • prepare schedules and ensure proper staffing
  • manage daily bar operations and guest interactions
  • maintain cleanliness and beverage quality
  • oversee purchasing, receiving, and inventory management
  • act as manager on duty in the absence of general manager
  • ensure proper security procedures are in place
