Job Requirements
- College coursework preferred
- six months restaurant management experience required
- two years bar experience required
- prior purchasing experience
- ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours
- able to frequently bend and stoop
- able to lift 30 lbs including maneuvering beer kegs
- fluent in English reading and writing
- good hearing amidst noise
Job Qualifications
- College coursework with bachelor’s degree preferred
- minimum six months restaurant management experience
- minimum two years bar experience with extensive knowledge of bar operations
- prior experience in purchasing and production
- ability to walk and stand for entire shift
- ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 30 lbs
- proficiency in reading, writing, and hearing in English
- strong leadership and communication skills
- experience coaching and developing team members
Job Duties
- Drive sales through local marketing initiatives
- develop and implement plans to build sales and control costs
- staff, train and develop bar team members
- prepare schedules and ensure proper staffing
- manage daily bar operations and guest interactions
- maintain cleanliness and beverage quality
- oversee purchasing, receiving, and inventory management
- act as manager on duty in the absence of general manager
- ensure proper security procedures are in place
