Job Requirements

  • Must be able to walk and stand for up to 10 hours per shift
  • Frequent bending and stooping required
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds including maneuvering beer kegs
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Must be able to hear well in noisy environments
  • Prior experience in bar operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • College coursework with bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months of restaurant management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of extensive bar experience
  • Prior experience in purchasing and beverage production
  • Strong knowledge of bar operations and beverage service standards
  • Ability to manage staff, schedules, and performance reviews effectively
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills

Job Duties

  • Supervise and manage all bar operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • Develop and lead a team of bartenders to deliver fast and accurate beverage service
  • Control beverage costs, production, and labor to optimize profitability
  • Design and implement local marketing campaigns to increase guest traffic
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and sanitation in the bar area
  • Manage inventory efficiently, including purchasing, receiving, and storage of beverage products
  • Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the General Manager overseeing the entire restaurant operation
