Job Requirements
- Must be able to walk and stand for up to 10 hours per shift
- Frequent bending and stooping required
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds including maneuvering beer kegs
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to hear well in noisy environments
- Prior experience in bar operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- College coursework with bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 months of restaurant management experience
- Minimum of 2 years of extensive bar experience
- Prior experience in purchasing and beverage production
- Strong knowledge of bar operations and beverage service standards
- Ability to manage staff, schedules, and performance reviews effectively
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Supervise and manage all bar operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences
- Develop and lead a team of bartenders to deliver fast and accurate beverage service
- Control beverage costs, production, and labor to optimize profitability
- Design and implement local marketing campaigns to increase guest traffic
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and sanitation in the bar area
- Manage inventory efficiently, including purchasing, receiving, and storage of beverage products
- Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the General Manager overseeing the entire restaurant operation
