Job Requirements

  • Must be able to walk and stand for up to 10 hours per shift
  • frequent bending and stooping required
  • must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
  • must be able to read and write English
  • must be able to hear well amidst loud background noise
  • minimum of 2 years bar experience
  • minimum of 6 months restaurant management experience
  • prior experience in purchasing and production

Job Qualifications

  • College coursework with bachelor’s degree preferred
  • minimum of 6 months of restaurant management experience
  • minimum of 2 years of bar experience with extensive knowledge of bar operations
  • prior experience in purchasing and production
  • ability to read, write and hear well in a noisy environment

Job Duties

  • Drive sales through local marketing initiatives
  • identify operational opportunities to increase sales and control costs
  • staff, train and develop bartenders
  • manage daily bar operations and ensure quality and cleanliness
  • interact frequently with guests to ensure a high level of service
  • oversee purchasing, receiving and storing beverage products
  • manage inventory efficiently and cost-effectively
  • act as Manager on Duty in absence of General Manager
  • ensure security procedures protect team members and company assets
