Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Prior front of house and back of house manager experience
  • Minimum of three years of restaurant experience
  • Supervisory experience

  • Knowledge about beer, wine, and spirits

  • 100 percent ability to stand or walk
  • 80 percent ability to communicate effectively with line positions
  • 75 percent ability to work at tables, stoves, and reach areas approximately 36 inches high
  • 75 percent ability to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe
  • 60 percent ability to perform tasks at a continuous high pace under pressure
  • 50 percent ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds for short distances
  • Ability to handle duties requiring physical stamina and endurance

Job Duties

  • Ensure consistent high-quality beverages are served to customers
  • Manage and track inventory to ensure adequate stock
  • Create a welcoming environment for guests and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  • Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
  • Train and supervise bar staff to be knowledgeable about products and policies
  • Oversee cleanliness of the bar area while monitoring for health hazards and regulation violations
  • Manage the restaurant's good image and suggest improvements
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Continuously engage with guests by touching tables and building relationships
  • Train and develop team members to ensure high standards of customer service
  • Motivate and mentor team members through coaching and feedback
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Adhere to ServSafe Alcohol, Food, OSHA, and HACCP standards
  • Safeguard team members and facility by enforcing safety and security policies
  • Maintain vendor and supplier relationships for timely and cost-effective deliveries
  • Analyze sales data and budgets to meet revenue goals while controlling food waste and labor costs
  • Assist General Managers with cash handling, including deposits and accurate recordkeeping
  • Manage daily restaurant operations including opening/closing procedures and staff scheduling
  • Uphold company policies to promote a positive brand image
  • Monitor food and beverage preparation and quality to ensure compliance
  • Report facilities concerns for maintenance or repairs
  • Perform all duties with high attention to safety and quality standards
