Job Requirements
- Must be able to walk and stand for up to 10 hours
- Frequent bending and stooping required
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs including beer kegs
- Ability to hear well amidst loud background noise
- Must be able to read and write English
- Prior restaurant management experience
- Experience overseeing bar operations
- Proven ability to develop and coach staff
- Effective communication skills
- Physical fitness for demanding shifts
Job Qualifications
- College coursework with Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 months restaurant management experience
- Minimum of 2 years bar experience with extensive knowledge of bar operations
- Prior experience in purchasing and production
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Good understanding of financial and operational bar management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Drive sales through local marketing initiatives
- Identify operational opportunities and implement plans
- Promote local events and bar promotions with staff
- Staff, train, and develop hourly team members
- Manage daily operations ensuring standards and guest satisfaction
- Maintain beverage quality, cleanliness, and sanitation
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and equipment maintenance
- Oversee security procedures to protect team members and guests
- Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the General Manager
- Resolve guest issues and staff relations promptly
