Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be available to work nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs
  • Must be able to perform the essential physical functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching with hands and arms, and using fingers and wrists for extended periods up to 8-10 hours per shift
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, including speaking and hearing in a busy kitchen environment
  • Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds on occasion
  • Must be able to tolerate and work in various kitchen environments including high temperatures and humidity near cooking equipment, cold conditions in walk-in coolers and freezers, and noisy, fast-paced environments with frequent interruptions

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of bar leadership experience in upscale or fine dining environments
  • Strong cocktail knowledge and a refined approach to beverage service
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and develop high-performing teams
  • Deep commitment to guest service, team collaboration, and product excellence
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills
  • Experience with bar technology including POS, inventory systems, and reservation platforms
  • Private dining or event bar service experience is a plus
  • A calm, confident presence and passion for hospitality

Job Duties

  • Lead, train, and inspire a professional bar team
  • Set clear service standards and create a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continued learning behind the bar
  • Maintain and evolve a refined cocktail and spirits program in collaboration with the GM and AGM
  • Create memorable bar experiences through high-touch, engaging hospitality
  • Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and attention to detail
  • Oversee inventory control, ordering, and cost tracking
  • Maintain accurate par levels and partner with vendors to ensure top-tier product availability
  • Train staff on cocktails, spirits, and responsible service
  • Stay current with trends and foster curiosity and knowledge within your team
  • Ensure bar setup, cleanliness, and maintenance meet the highest standards during all shifts
  • Lead by example in speed, precision, and poise
  • Coordinate with the events and culinary teams to craft beverage experiences for private dining and special occasions
  • Enforce safe alcohol service and adhere to health, safety, and licensing standards
