Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-volume food and beverage environments
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory role
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • Knowledge of state liquor laws or possession of state Alcohol Awareness certificate
  • Ability to prepare banquet style events
  • Strong budget and cost control skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Job Qualifications

  • Degree in food and beverage management preferred but not required
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • Experience preparing banquet style events
  • Knowledge of state liquor laws or state Alcohol Awareness certificate
  • Strong budgetary, projection, and cost control skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to bar operations
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • Work with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute events including beverage preparation and service
  • Assist with bartending when needed
  • Estimate beverage consumption and make appropriate purchases
  • Schedule staff efficiently to match business volume
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain bar staff
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, presentation, and proper preparation and storage of beverages
  • Facilitate and manage bar equipment maintenance
  • Implement and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations
