Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of bartending experience with 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong knowledge of spirits cocktails beer wine and beverage trends
  • Proven leadership communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of POS systems and inventory management software
  • Flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle bar equipment safely
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Supervise and schedule bar staff including bartenders barbacks and servers
  • Provide coaching training and performance feedback to staff
  • Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork
  • Assist in hiring and onboarding new team members
  • Ensure high standards of service quality and presentation
  • Interact with guests as needed resolving issues promptly and professionally
  • Maintain an engaging and safe atmosphere for patrons
  • Oversee ordering receiving and inventory management of liquor beer wine and supplies
  • Monitor and control costs minimize waste and maximize profitability
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels sales and product usage
  • Ensure bar staff adhere to all health safety and liquor laws
  • Maintain cleanliness organization and compliance with all sanitation standards
  • Implement proper cash handling and POS procedures
  • Develop and update drink menus including specialty cocktails and seasonal offerings
  • Stay current with industry trends and customer preferences
  • Work with management to create promotions or events to boost sales
  • Prepare daily weekly and monthly sales reports and labor reports
  • Assist management with budgeting forecasting and operational planning
  • Coordinate with FOH and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
