Job Requirements

  • Must be able to walk and stand for up to 10 hours during shifts
  • Frequent bending and stooping required
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs including maneuvering beer kegs
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Must have good hearing ability in loud environments

Job Qualifications

  • College coursework with bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months of restaurant management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of bar experience with extensive knowledge of bar operations
  • Prior experience in purchasing and production
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively

Job Duties

  • Drive sales through local marketing initiatives and promotions
  • Identify operational opportunities to increase sales and control costs
  • Work with bartenders and staff to promote local events and promotions
  • Staff, train and develop hourly team members through feedback, coaching and performance reviews
  • Manage daily operations including staff support, guest interaction, scheduling, planning and upholding standards
  • Ensure beverage quality and bar cleanliness with proper storage and sanitation practices
  • Oversee purchasing, inventory management and vendor relations to minimize waste and optimize costs
  • Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the General Manager
  • Ensure proper security procedures for team members, guests and company assets
