Job Requirements
- Must be able to walk and stand for up to 10 hours during shifts
- Frequent bending and stooping required
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs including maneuvering beer kegs
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must have good hearing ability in loud environments
Job Qualifications
- College coursework with bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 months of restaurant management experience
- Minimum of 2 years of bar experience with extensive knowledge of bar operations
- Prior experience in purchasing and production
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively
Job Duties
- Drive sales through local marketing initiatives and promotions
- Identify operational opportunities to increase sales and control costs
- Work with bartenders and staff to promote local events and promotions
- Staff, train and develop hourly team members through feedback, coaching and performance reviews
- Manage daily operations including staff support, guest interaction, scheduling, planning and upholding standards
- Ensure beverage quality and bar cleanliness with proper storage and sanitation practices
- Oversee purchasing, inventory management and vendor relations to minimize waste and optimize costs
- Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the General Manager
- Ensure proper security procedures for team members, guests and company assets
