Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in food and beverage or related area
  • or 2-year degree from accredited university with 2 years of experience
  • Proven knowledge of local, state, and federal liquor laws
  • Strong ability to manage bar/lounge operations including inventory and staff supervision
  • Competent in developing and implementing marketing and public relations strategies
  • Effective leadership and training skills
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally and promote guest satisfaction
  • Skilled in budget comprehension and expense management
  • Strong understanding of beverage control procedures
  • Capable of fostering employee engagement and maintaining a positive work environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant experience
  • OR 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills in food and beverage or hospitality settings
  • Strong knowledge of beverage control, inventory management, and liquor laws
  • Proven marketing, customer service, and event coordination experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and manage budgets effectively

Job Duties

  • Create unique guest experiences to attract hotel and non-hotel guests
  • Maximize financial performance by understanding the local market and positioning the outlet effectively
  • Promote the bar/lounge through marketing, advertising, public relations, and social media activities
  • Manage daily bar/lounge operations and supervise staff
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal beverage and liquor laws and property policies
  • Control purchases, inventory, and negotiate contracts with suppliers
  • Coordinate and execute bar/lounge events and entertainment
  • Foster long-term professional relationships with guest clientele
  • Train, develop, and set performance standards for staff
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and payroll to achieve financial objectives
  • Monitor and maintain food handling, sanitation, and beverage control standards
  • Respond to guest feedback and resolve complaints to improve service performance
