Job Requirements

  • minimum of 5 years experience in high-volume food and beverage environments
  • at least 3 years in a supervisory role
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • knowledge of state liquor laws or possession of state Alcohol Awareness certificate
  • strong budgetary, projection, and cost control skills
  • excellent organizational and time management abilities

Job Qualifications

  • degree in food and beverage management preferred but not required
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • experience preparing banquet style events
  • knowledge of state liquor laws or possession of a state Alcohol Awareness certificate
  • strong budgetary, projection, and cost control skills
  • excellent organizational and time management abilities

Job Duties

  • adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to bar operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and adjust as necessary
  • work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute beverage service for all events, including preparation, service, and cleanup
  • assist with bartending as needed
  • estimate beverage consumption and make purchases according to bar program
  • schedule staff efficiently based on business volume
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain bar staff in collaboration with center management
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all beverages
  • manage bar equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits to comply with Department of Health regulations
