Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • OR two-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Two years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • Ability to manage bar/lounge operations
  • Knowledge of beverage control and liquor laws
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Availability to work full time
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and promote high customer satisfaction

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with four years of experience in food and beverage or related area
  • OR a two-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with two years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of financial and inventory control
  • Experience in marketing and event management
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and compliance standards
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage staff training and development
  • Familiarity with social media and public relations

Job Duties

  • Manage daily Bar/Lounge operations and supervise staff
  • Develop and implement marketing, advertising, and community relations programs
  • Control purchases, inventory, and negotiate with suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal liquor laws and hotel policies
  • Coordinate and book entertainment and events for the Bar/Lounge
  • Monitor and maintain beverage control and inventory accuracy
  • Foster an environment focused on exceptional guest experiences and staff training
