Job Requirements
- 10+ years in the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of running a profitable business
- Familiarity with modern POS systems
- Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Current mixology certification
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to submit to a background check
- Availability to work nights weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Tertiary middle management qualifications preferred
- Experience managing bar or beverage service operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Familiarity with business management principles and practices
- Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- Experience with cost control procedures
- Knowledge of human resource management practices
- Understanding of administrative procedures
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications
Job Duties
- Supervise daily bar operations ensuring service standards are maintained and guest satisfaction is prioritized
- Oversee all aspects of bar staff management including hiring training scheduling and performance evaluation
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for beverages glassware and bar essentials ensuring sufficient stock
- Create and maintain beverage menus including specialty cocktails promotions and seasonal offerings
- Ensure proper mixing garnishing and serving of beverages in line with company standards
- Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation standards maintaining cleanliness of the bar and storage areas
- Manage the bar's budget control costs and maximize profitability by tracking sales labor and beverage costs
