Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience including bartending
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
- CPR, AED, First Aid certification preferred and required upon hire
- Certified in Alcohol Awareness training preferred and required upon hire
- Certified Food Protection Manager required upon hire
- Experience in arts, cultural, entertainment or non-profit organizations preferred
- Proficiency in typing and computer software
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and MS Office suite preferred
- Proficiency with computerized hospitality POS system required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to quickly synthesize information, problem-solve and make decisions
- Ability to collaborate and lead cross-departmental teams

Job Duties
- Manage inventory including product ordering and ensuring adequate pars
- Rotate product to encourage sales and avoid waste
- Schedule and coordinate product deliveries
- Maintain accurate inventory controls
- Assist rental team with food and beverage offerings and on-site support for events
- Enforce safety, health, and equipment standards following all liquor and food laws
- Administer point of sales system including programming and training staff
- Attend planning meetings and adjust operations according to event needs
- Supervise and train bartenders and concessions staff
- Monitor customer service standards and intervene as necessary to ensure exemplary service
- Handle bar financial reporting and coordinate with finance and payroll departments
- Conduct post-event close out and reporting
- Coordinate bartender schedules and manage hiring and performance reviews
- Provide ongoing training and maintain staff knowledge of policies and products
- Respond to customer complaints and work to resolve issues promptly
- Lead and motivate the bar and concessions team to meet high service standards
- Serve as first responder in medical emergencies and notify appropriate personnel
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and storage areas post-event
- Participate in department and cross-functional meetings to support continuous improvement.
