Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Two to four years of related experience or training in food and beverage management
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents and technical procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Internet software, order processing systems, spreadsheet and word processing software, and POS systems
- California Food Handlers Certificate
- California Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
- Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear regularly
- Occasional lifting or moving up to 50 pounds
- Close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
- Ability to apply basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or two to four years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public

Job Duties
- Satisfy guest needs and exceed their expectations by projecting a positive restaurant and hotel image
- Make decisions aligned with service standards to ensure the best guest experience
- Maintain control of beverage costs and inventory of all food and beverage products
- Communicate pertinent information to food and beverage managers and staff across multiple locations
- Ensure outlets are ready for service including dining rooms and guest engagement
- Ensure knowledge of all menu items and maintain sequence of service
- Coordinate communication with culinary and sales departments cohesively and timely
- Conduct training and ensure service standards are followed in all outlets
- Address guest and staff complaints and questions professionally
- Inspire, coach, train, and develop food and beverage team and staff
- Refine operating standards based on business conditions
- Focus on service, customer satisfaction, and profitability
- Apply creative cost control and revenue generating solutions
- Ensure sanitation and cleanliness standards meet regulatory compliance
- Establish and maintain policies and procedures for the food and beverage department
- Collaborate with sales and culinary teams to drive outlet experience and business growth
- Update food and beverage selections in Simphony system
- Develop new business through dinners and special events
- Provide ongoing wine and liquor training
- Schedule staff tastings
- Perform other duties as assigned
