Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or ged
  • four years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • or two-year degree from an accredited university in food service management, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major
  • two years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • ability to manage bar/lounge staff and operations
  • knowledge of liquor control policies and beverage laws
  • hands-on experience with inventory, purchasing, and cost controls
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including peak periods

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • create unique guest experiences that attract hotel and non-hotel guests
  • maximize financial performance by understanding local market and positioning outlet
  • promote bar/lounge through menu planning, marketing, and public relations
  • maintain high standards and compliance with beverage and liquor laws
  • manage daily bar/lounge operations and supervise staff during shifts
  • handle liquor inventories and control costs effectively
  • coordinate and execute events to enhance guest experience
