Job Duties
- Directly supervise all employees of the bar staff and managers in training
- carry out supervisory responsibilities according to company policies and legal requirements
- train employees and assign work responsibilities
- mentor employees on job performance
- ensure bar and food service areas meet quality standards
- monitor adherence to standard operating procedures and beverage specifications
- manage bar schedules and staffing
- conduct bar inventories and monitor for waste and theft
- complete bar orders and establish par levels
- maintain vendor relationships and pricing
- monitor bar costs and recommend cost-saving solutions
- ensure recipe accuracy
- assess bar maintenance needs
- assist in developing beverage recipes and preparation procedures
- assist in recruiting and developing bar staff
- oversee training and development programs
- ensure compliance with sanitation and health standards
- maintain necessary skills to operate bar equipment safely
- assist in completing required paperwork
