Job Requirements

  • must be able to walk and stand for up to 10 hours per shift
  • frequent bending and stooping required
  • must be able to lift up to 30 lbs including maneuvering beer kegs
  • must be able to read and write English
  • must have good hearing in loud environments
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • compliance with health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • college coursework with bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum of 6 months of restaurant management experience
  • minimum of 2 years of bar experience with extensive knowledge of operations
  • prior experience in purchasing and production
  • strong leadership and team development skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • ability to manage budgets and control costs
  • knowledge of bar equipment and maintenance
  • proficient in inventory management
  • ability to maintain a positive and motivating work environment

Job Duties

  • Drives sales through local marketing initiatives and promotions
  • identifies operational opportunities to increase sales and control costs
  • staffs, trains, and develops hourly team members
  • manages daily bar operations including guest interaction and quality assurance
  • maintains high standards of cleanliness and beverage quality
  • oversees purchasing, inventory, and supplier inspections
  • acts as Manager on Duty in General Manager’s absence
  • ensures security protocols are followed
  • collaborates with team to promote local events
  • prepares schedules based on manpower planning
  • addresses guest issues and complaints promptly
  • ensures recipe standards adherence
  • manages budget compliance related to labor and beverage costs
