Job Requirements

  • 2+ years experience managing a beverage program in a fine dining restaurant
  • strong and professional communication skills
  • ability to multitask and handle a large volume of inquiries, calls, and needs
  • work with purpose and a sense of urgency
  • able to self-manage priorities and demonstrate self-accountability
  • empowered and takes responsibility
  • manages confidential information with discretion
  • always takes a values-based approach to decision making and growth
  • organized and detail-oriented with the ability to keep many stakeholders informed
  • polished, personable, and professional appearance and attire whenever on-site
  • ability to build relationships with guests and team members at all levels of the organization

  • able to use Canva and make updates to materials
  • must be able to stand and walk for long periods during events
  • must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
  • must be able to work a variety of hours to accommodate events

Job Duties

  • Sets the tone and energy of the bar and beverage program
  • manages all moving parts of the bar with strong communication and efficiency
  • takes shifts and works with all members behind the bar to assess strengths and areas for improvement
  • expects creativity from the bar team to create seasonal menus
  • recruits great talent for the bar who embody enthusiasm and company values
  • upholds and maintains a clean and pristine bar
  • ensures stocking and storage of beverages is organized and well cared for
  • develops programs and events to promote beverage programs
  • maintains good vendor relationships and represents the brand
  • exudes heartfelt hospitality and provides excellent service
  • keeps current on local competitors, industry trends and opportunities
  • works closely with GM and Wine Director to understand financial reports and make data-driven decisions
  • builds a culture of continuous learning with training and education for staff
