Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of bar management or beverage service operation experience
- Must hold current TABC and Food Handler certifications
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
- Solid understanding of beverage preparation and presentation
- Knowledge of business management including cost control and budgeting
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with POS systems preferred
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and late hours
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of bar management or beverage service operation experience, preferably in a high-volume setting
- Must hold current TABC and Food Handler certifications
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as mixing and presentation
- Knowledge of business management practices, including cost control, budgeting, and basic accounting procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both staff and management
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar systems is preferred
- Available to work nights, weekends, and some late hours
Job Duties
- Manage, motivate, and develop a team of bartenders and bar staff, ensuring excellent service and performance
- Assess staff development needs and provide ongoing coaching and training to maintain high service standards
- Oversee daily bar operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and cash control procedures
- Set and monitor beverage preparation and service standards to ensure consistency and quality
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and work with suppliers to ensure bar is well-stocked and orders are accurate
- Ensure adherence to cash handling, cost control, and stock control procedures to meet financial objectives
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently met, in line with local regulations
- Organize staff rotations and schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing levels during peak and off-peak hours
