Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • at least 1 year progressive experience in hotel or related field
  • prior supervisory experience
  • knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
  • understanding of health department rules and liquor laws
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance
  • comply with safety and hotel regulations
  • willingness to work long hours
  • ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force
  • maintain regular attendance
  • attend all required trainings
  • ability to handle and resolve problems
  • maintain confidentiality
  • perform additional duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • high school diploma required
  • college coursework in related field helpful
  • previous supervisory responsibility
  • knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
  • understanding of health department rules and liquor laws
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to multitask and prioritize
  • problem-solving skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
