Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- High school diploma required
- Previous supervisory responsibility required
- Must have knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
- Must have knowledge of health department rules and regulations
- Must have knowledge of liquor laws and regulations
- Long hours sometimes required
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Must be able to listen, understand and clarify concerns
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- Must maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Must comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations
- Must be able to handle problems including anticipating and solving them
- Must maintain confidentiality of information
- Must maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling
Job Qualifications

- College coursework in related field helpful

Job Duties
- Coordinate and supervise all aspects of bar operations and beverage outlets
- Maintain profitable operation and high-quality product and service levels
- Promote business ideas to increase revenue
- Reduce employee turnover through effective leadership
- Manage revenue and payroll budgets
- Meet budgeted productivity and quality standards
- Attend hotel required meetings and trainings
- Participate in manager-on-duty (M.O.D.) coverage as required
- Ensure compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards
- Handle and resolve problems effectively
- Maintain confidentiality of information
- Perform additional duties as requested by management
- Maintain a warm, friendly demeanor at all times
