Job Requirements
- Minimum 6 months restaurant management experience
- minimum 2 years bar experience
- able to walk and stand for up to 10 hours per shift
- frequent bending and stooping
- able to lift up to 30 lbs including beer kegs
- able to read and write English
- able to hear well in noisy environments
- prior purchasing and production experience
- ability to manage security procedures
Job Qualifications
- College coursework with bachelor’s degree preferred
- minimum of 6 months restaurant management experience
- minimum of 2 years of bar experience with extensive knowledge of bar operations
- prior experience in purchasing and production
- strong communication and leadership skills
- ability to manage and develop teams effectively
- proficiency in inventory and cost control management
- knowledge of health and safety regulations
Job Duties
- Drive local marketing and promotions initiatives
- identify opportunities to increase sales and control costs
- promote and support local events with bartenders and staff
- staff, train, and develop bar team members
- conduct regular performance reviews and coaching
- prepare schedules and manage staffing needs
- manage daily bar operations including guest interactions and quality control
- ensure beverage quality and maintain cleanliness and organization
- manage purchasing, receiving, storage, and inventory of beverage products
- oversee equipment operations and preventive maintenance
- act as Manager on Duty in absence of General Manager
- ensure proper security procedures
- resolve guest relations issues
- make employee relations decisions with management input
- uphold compliance with recipes and operating standards
- influence hiring and termination processes
- develop and implement sales strategies
- manage overall front-of-house operational quality
