Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift
- frequent bending and stooping required
- must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
- must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- must have good hearing to manage loud environments
- previous bar and restaurant management experience
- knowledge of local market and competitors
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum 6 months of restaurant management experience
- minimum 2 years of bar experience
- knowledge of bar operations
- prior experience in purchasing and production
- ability to coach and develop team members
- strong communication and leadership skills
- proficiency in managing financial and operational aspects
- ability to handle physical demands of the role
Job Duties
- Drive sales through local marketing initiatives
- identify operational opportunities to build sales and control costs
- staff, train, and develop hourly team members
- manage daily bar operations including staff support and guest interaction
- maintain beverage quality, cleanliness, and safety standards
- manage inventory, purchasing, and beverage production efficiently
- oversee bar equipment operations and preventive maintenance
- act as Manager on Duty in absence of General Manager
- ensure proper security procedures are in place
- address guest complaints and provide exceptional customer service
