Job Requirements

  • College coursework with bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum of 6 months restaurant management experience
  • minimum of 2 years bar experience
  • prior experience in purchasing and production
  • ability to walk and stand up to 10 hours
  • frequent bending and stooping capability
  • able to lift up to 30 lbs including maneuvering beer kegs
  • ability to read and write English
  • ability to hear well among loud background noise

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum 6 months restaurant management experience
  • at least 2 years bar experience with extensive bar operations knowledge
  • experience in purchasing and production
  • able to walk and stand up to 10 hours
  • able to bend and stoop frequently
  • able to lift up to 30 lbs
  • proficient in English reading and writing
  • able to hear well in noisy environments

Job Duties

  • Drive sales through local marketing initiatives
  • identify operational opportunities to boost sales and control costs
  • promote and support local events with bartenders
  • staff, train and develop bartenders and bar team members
  • manage shift operations including guest interaction, scheduling, and planning
  • maintain beverage quality, cleanliness, and sanitation
  • oversee purchasing, receiving, storing beverage products and inventory management
  • manage bar equipment and preventive maintenance
  • act as Manager on Duty in the General Manager's absence
  • implement and ensure proper security procedures
