Job Requirements

  • College coursework with bachelor’s degree preferred
  • minimum of 6 months restaurant management experience
  • minimum of 2 years bar experience
  • prior experience in purchasing and production
  • ability to walk and stand during entire shift up to 10 hours
  • frequent bending and stooping
  • ability to lift up to 30 lbs including beer kegs
  • must be able to read and write English
  • must be able to hear well in loud background noise

Job Qualifications

  • College coursework with bachelor’s degree preferred
  • minimum of 6 months restaurant management experience
  • minimum of 2 years bar experience with extensive knowledge of bar operations
  • prior purchasing and production experience
  • ability to walk and stand up to 10 hours per shift
  • ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 30 lbs
  • proficient in reading and writing English
  • ability to hear well in noisy environments

Job Duties

  • Drive sales through local marketing initiatives
  • identify and implement operational opportunities to increase sales and control costs
  • collaborate with bartenders and key employees to promote local events
  • staff, train, and develop hourly team members
  • manage daily bar operations including guest interaction and staff support
  • maintain beverage quality, cleanliness, and organization
  • oversee purchasing, receiving, and inventory management
  • ensure compliance with all bar standards and security procedures
  • act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the General Manager
  • handle guest and vendor relations issues
  • influence hiring and termination decisions
